Professional Profiles:
David L. Perry     Director, Training and Development

Prior to the establishment of H.P.R., David was an executive manager and consultant with two training and development firms specializing in the design, development and delivery of state-of-the-art training programs to organizations of all types and sizes.

David was the Director of Training and Development with the Kellogg Company for thirteen years where he reorganized and managed the corporate management development and technical training departments.  He has consulted and created programs, fostering professional and personal growth to employees on all levels, in corporate and manufacturing settings, throughout the U.S. and internationally for over 20 years.

David earned a BS in business/economics and an MBA in management/marketing from Central Michigan University, and his doctorate degree in leadership from Western Michigan University. He has taught at the University of Kentucky, Lake Michigan College and still teaches graduate courses in Human Resource Development at Western Mich. Univ.  He has written numerous articles on human resource development.

Robert H. Roberts     Director,  Experiential  Learning

Prior to the establishment of H.P.R., Bob was the Director of Experiential Programming for an internationally known training and development center, where he created dynamic adventure-based learning programs for profit and non-profit organizations.

Bob has dedicated over twenty-five years of his professional career to designing, building, facilitating and training others in experiential training and development.. He is nationally known and has consulted with a variety of organizations in such areas as team building, group dynamics, dealing with change and leadership. He also managed sales and training for A. N. R., a nation wide commercial carrier and spent a number of years in the educational system as a teacher and coach.

Bob earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Western Michigan University and has completed masters’ work in Counseling and Personnel.  He also holds numerous certifications in experiential education technology/ methodology.  Bob is a founding member of a national accreditation association for experiential education.
